Good on you Bubanee for spreading the love of this new codec, your release actually from a week ago or so first introduced me into the OPUS codec realm and I started studying about it and even did some self comparisons, OPUS at 320K absolutely kicks MP3 48khz at 320K's ass in terms of clarity, separation of instruments and high frequency content reproduction it is totally the future MP3 is and should be dead already OPUS needs to become the new MP3 it is so drastically better at compressing files yet sounding great in comparison to a loss less counter-part.

it's free source as well, so there's no copyright issues! so anyone can add this to their existing apps, standalone players.
..
and a Opus at 256 is the same as a WAV 1411 besides the cut-off at 20.5 which is standard cut off set in Opus. once they get further ahead and lift it to 22.1khz (if they ever will).. that'll bye bye Flac as well :)

I don't think OPUS will ever replace FLAC, since OPUS is not lossless. It DOES beat the crap out of MP3 though, and I would like to see Spotify, Pandora, and all the other streaming music providers use OPUS. I don't know if the music labels will let them though...
I do love how OPUS supports 5.1 and 7.1 at up to 32 bit flawlessly. WDTVLive needs to support this codec.

if Opus decides to up the limit to 22.1khz, all hell will break loose and every other music codec will be destroyed.

any1 here know any android compatible apps? to play OPUS!!
BTW used the winamp plugin in Mediamonkey (has bugs), listening to Bob Marley all night long, trust me this actually does sound a LOT BETTER than mp3, the instrument separation is so damn well defined, amazing
